Complete telephony system and support for Beaverbrook luxury hotel
The 400 acre estate of Beaverbrook has seen a recent £90m transformation into a luxury country house hotel and exclusive golf club and spa.
QDOS was selected by Longshot, the owners of Beaverbrook to provide a Business Hospitality Telephone System for the new development. The installation needed to be completed in separate phases and provide around the clock service and support to the Beaverbrook team.
The Mitel Hospitality Telephone supplied by QDOS sees a Mitel Mxe III Controller installed with SIP Telephone Lines and Mitel Border Gateway. In addition to Mitel 5304 and 5320 IP Handset for front of house, and back of house areas with Mitel 5624 Voice over WIFI Handsets ensuring communication on the move for mobile staff. In addition to Polycom IP500 conference units in business areas, new but retro-inspired 746 telephones were installed in guest rooms (the 746 was the main telephone used throughout the 1970s but has been modified for effective one touch dialling for all guest service calls from guestrooms).
