Converged ICT solution for the iconic Ivy Restaurant
- IT Solutions
The Ivy Chelsea Garden is a spin-off and ‘little sister’ to the iconic London restaurant, The Ivy. Offering all-day British dining and an interior made up of various areas, The Ivy Chelsea Garden is set within a Grade II listed building. As the name suggests, the restaurant boasts an extensive orangery and terrace for al-fresco dining.
To deliver a converged telecoms, IT and internet solution for The Ivy Chelsea Garden, primarily to manage the high number of reservation calls and enquiries but also to efficiently manage the smooth running of day-to-day staff and visitor network requirements.
QDOS provided an Avaya Telephone System and Automated Attendant to manage the volume of reservation calls and an IT LAN Network including HP PC’s and printers supporting Google Apps for Business. Google enables users to utilise professional email, cloud storage, collaboration tools and business-grade security and controls.
In addition, QDOS provided a 100Mbps Fibre Leased Line together with Ruckus Access Points supporting Internet access for all diners. The same circuit is securely partitioned for the back-office Internet and for SIP Telephone Lines, offering less expensive operating costs in line rental and call charges. QDOS provides full remote and on-site service support to The Ivy Chelsea Garden on a 24/7 x 365 basis.
