On July 26th a team of ten intrepid QDOS-sbl staff members will be dusting down their lycra to cycle 110 miles, over two days, along the Suffolk Coast.
The challenge is in aid of raising money for two very worthwhile charities; the East Anglian Air Ambulance a well-known charity local to QDOS-sbl HQ, who exist to save lives by delivering doctors and critical care paramedics by air or car to seriously ill or injured people in the region; and Greenfingers a charity dedicated to supporting children in hospices by creating gardens and outdoor spaces for the children to enjoy with their families and friends.
Team QDOS-sbl will start the route from the Holiday Inn, Orwell in Ipswich heading past Framlingham and Halesworth, finishing in Lowestoft on day one. Then (a possibly slightly saddle sore) day two will take the team south back to Ipswich via Southwold and Aldeburgh.
The team have been training hard and have raised nearly £3000.00 in donations so far, thanks to all those wonderful people who have donated to date. We would LOVE to see this figure grow, so please dig deep, if you are able to make a donation however large or small, every penny counts for these charities.
A special thank you to our sponsors for their generous support:
