Building on the expertise of planning and producing the world’s largest hospitality technology show, Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP) has announced plans for HITEC Amsterdam in Spring 2017. The new event will be a counterpart to the tremendously successful Hospitality Industry Technology Exposition and Conference which brings together over 5,500 individuals from the hospitality technology community and is held each year in a different city in the United States.
Planning for HITEC Amsterdam has begun, starting with guidance from an advisory council which will be chaired by Carson Booth, CHTP, vice president of global property technology for Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. The preliminary program includes exhibits with up to 60 booths , a keynote presentation in the usual tradition of HITEC, and 16+ educational sessions on current technology topics for hospitality.
HITEC Amsterdam is taking place, March 28-30, 2017, RAI Amsterdam Convention Centre, Amsterdam, Netherlands
Simon Catterick, CEO of QDOS said “HFTP is the global professional association for financial and technology personnel working in hotels, clubs, and other hospitality-related businesses. Having visited HITEC in the United States in recent years we are delighted that HFTP are bringing the event to Europe. From the QDOS offices in London and Amsterdam, and with Berlin due to open in September, we provide 24/7 ICT service and support for multiple limited service, full service and five-star luxury hotels throughout Europe. As such we are delighted to be one of the first suppliers to commit to exhibiting at HITEC Amsterdam, where we look forward to meeting many existing customers, and to making new connections too.”
